Fresh green smoothie

  • Course: Snacks and bites
  • Seasons: Autumn, Spring, Summer, Winter

Ingredients

  • 2 green apples (cut into quarters (core and skin included))
  • 1 Lime (cut in half)
  • 300 g spinach
  • 1 ginger (Large chunk of fresh ginger root)
  • 1 stalk celery (cut into medium-sized portions (around 5 centimetres))
  • 300 ml water (cold)

Instructions

  1. Put all the ingredients except the water into the Thermomix bowl and blend for 30 seconds on Speed 10.
  2. Add the water through the hole in the lid and blend for a further 20 seconds on Speed 8 until all the ingredients are well mixed.
  3. Sieve the mixture before serving.
