It’s also a super nutritious way to enjoy fish. The coriander, mint and basil are packed full of antioxidants, which can stop damage to the cells in your body caused by free radicals.
All three are also known to aid digestion and gut health, making them beneficial for anyone with irritable bowel syndrome or other digestive disorders.
The addition of the shredded zucchini adds a powerful shot of nutrition to this dish. It offers a generous range of vitamins and minerals and is particularly high in vitamin A, which aids your vision and immune system.
Honey is perhaps underrated as a healthy ingredient. As well as offering natural sweetness to this dish, it contains antioxidants to help protect you against disease, and some studies have shown that it may help lower cholesterol too.
And let’s not forget all the nutrients salmon has to offer. It’s actually one of the best sources of omega-3 fatty acids you can find. These fatty acids can reduce your chances of getting some serious diseases and can also help lower inflammation in the body.
Salmon is also high in protein, B vitamins and the mineral potassium, which can help keep your blood pressure at a healthy level.
